Our track record
We have done this before.
BIPL promoted Dighi Port in Raigad district, the first greenfield port in Maharashtra, through its project company Dighi Port Limited. We planned it as an integrated hub: a deep-water port with its own economic zone, logistics, road and rail.

Rooftop solar that lowers power costs.
For small and mid-sized factories, warehouses and commercial buildings, including warehouses at ports. Stage one proves the model before we scale to ground-mounted plants.

The zero-capex model
You use the power. We fund the plant.
BIPL funds each project with its own equity and bank debt, so clients go solar without capital spending and pay only for the power they use, at an agreed tariff.

A first-generation entrepreneur, Dr. Kalantri founded the Balaji Group, with interests in textiles, leasing finance and infrastructure. He promoted Dighi Port, Maharashtra’s first greenfield port and port-based economic zone. He has worked closely with central and state governments on trade, MSME development and financial services, and has represented Indian industry at WTO ministerial conferences and the World Economic Forum.
